CSS'de renkler RGB değerleri, HEX değerleri, HSL kullanılarak da belirtilebilir. değerler, RGBA değerleri ve HSLA değerleri:

"Domates" renk adıyla aynı:

rgb(255, 99, 71)
#ff6347
hsl(9, 100%, 64%)

"Domates" renk adıyla aynı, ancak %50 şeffaf:

rgba(255, 99, 71, 0.5)
hsla(9, 100%, 64%, 0.5)
